September 9, 2000
Looks like I may be dropping one of my 2 classes this semester, but I will
have to check with my "counselor" to see what to do. I'm into my third
week of school, and it looks like everything (and much much more) of Corporate Finance is covered in Financial Management (which I had previously).
August 21, 2000
I'm back from my 2 week adventure out west, enjoyed it quite a bit. All the
progress has been sumarized
here. Swing on by and have a look, lots of pictures
so people with slow links be wary. First day of class is tomorrow for me, I
have 2 this semester, then 2 the next, then it'll be done. Got my grade back
for portfolio management, smoked an A. So, the GPA is finally where I wanted
at 3.75, hope to keep it no less than that.

July 26, 2000
Well, let's see. Alot has gone on. Just finished up Portfolio Management,
smoked an A. Have 2 classes registered in the Fall, Corporate Finance and
International Finance, after that only 2 left. This July 4 holiday that has
past, I had a lovely weekend at my uncle's in Belton. Also during this time,
Thai and his friends stayed at my place, and visited Dallas. They are all
from Plainview. In August, Seth and I will leave to California for awhile. We
arrive in LA, and then we'll make our way up the coast to SF and San Jose, and
visit with Scott some. My first trip to California, should be fun.
June 5, 2000
Summer class has started, it looks to be more of a challenge than the previous
semester, but it's only one class so here goes. Saturday I went to Six Flags,
spent plenty of money getting there and back, but had fun. The stock market (NASDAQ)
did better than in recent memory, up 19% for the week. Fingers are crossed
that it doesn't reverse direction.

Just got through seeing the Shanghi movie w/ Jackie Chan, it was funny in some
parts, but it's no rumble in the bronx. The weekend before, Seth and I took
in Gladiator, which was excellent. Got the car back finally on Friday,
every thing seems okay except for a couple minor issues. Also, grades finally
did come in, 2/2 for A's! So the GPA is at 3.72, looking forward for that .75.
New DVDs ordered this week: Fight Club, Roy Orbison DTS, Clue,
Star Trek II: Wrath of Kahn, Independence Day SE

Still waiting on my car, which got some extensive hail damage. I should have
it by next week. Grades are in for the spring semester: 1 A and 1 unknown.
This summer I have portfolio management, after that only 4 more classes left
to the big MBA. Monday night I was at the Stars playoff game #2 against
Colorado. I was with Shane, who is a coworker of my roommate's.
