In the spring of 2000, the "American Film Institute" decided that they and
their hand-picked voters knew what the
top 100 comedy movies of all time were. I, and many other people I
know, mostly disagreed with what was picked. Some movies were listed that
shouldn't have been, and other classics were left off. Also, many movies listed
are not even comedies, and should be listed more as drama.
So, we at Good Bull
decided to set the record straight, and list the *real* top 100 comedy
movies of all time (suggestions are welcome). Incidentally, did anyone
know that Steve Martin is originally from Waco, Texas? How about that!
no numbers, as the ordering may change very soon (only 79 so far)
